Surgical ICU Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based care to post-surgical and critically ill patients in a high-acuity setting
• Perform continuous patient assessments and manage complex therapies
• Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions
• Collaborate with intensivists and surgeons to develop and implement care plans
• Utilize advanced monitoring and life-support equipment effectively
• Support patients and families through clear, compassionate communication

Qualifications & Skills

• Current Registered Nurse licensure
• Experience in critical care or surgical ICU preferred
• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-focused environment
• Excellent communication skills, especially in patient and family interactions
