Surgical Coordinator Supervisor

The Role

The Surgical Coordinator Supervisor at Coastal Eye Associates is responsible for managing surgical operations, ensuring exceptional patient care, and achieving operational and financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage surgical operations and resolve scheduling issues
• Develop and oversee programs and processes for patient care services
• Evaluate and review care standards to ensure patient needs and regulatory requirements are met
• Coach and develop staff to provide service excellence with patient care
• Contribute to project initiatives and assist in creating/implementing internal processes and procedures

Requirements

• Associate degree in a related area or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2-3 years of related work experience
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products
• Experience in a surgically related field
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Ability to lead, develop, train, coach, evaluate, communicate, and discipline staff
• Team player with strong collaborative working relationships
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames
