About the role

The Surgery Scheduler will be part of the Inland Shoulder Team at our new Spokane, WA clinic. Reporting to the Practice Manager, this position involves scheduling surgeries, managing phone calls, and supporting medical record management.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule surgeries using both manual and automated systems
  • Facilitate telephone messages and interactions with a high level of service
  • Aid in medical records management to ensure accurate documentation
  • Utilize automated systems to support scheduling functions
  • Work under pressure and handle situations requiring patience, tact, stamina, and endurance

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Ability to relate and work effectively with others
  • Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications
  • Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for personal growth and advancement
  • Awareness of the operating room environment and surgical scheduling
  • Previous experience is highly preferred
