Surgery RN - Part time -Days with call

Responsibilities

• Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and/or individual (30%).
• Bases nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems on outcomes identification/planning (30%).
• Evaluates and documents response to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriately determined intervals; collaborates with multidisciplinary team to revise plan of care based on evaluative data (20%).
• Participates actively in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance (10%).
• Focuses on safety, quality, and efficiency in performing job duties as a High Reliability Organization (HRO) (10%).

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state.
• BSN required at 5 years of employment.
• Candidates must have recent OR experience as an RN in an acute care hospital.
• New graduates or tenured bedside RNs without OR experience need to apply to the OR RN Residency.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree: Nursing (Required).
• BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association.
• RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing.
