Surgery RN - Part time - Days

Responsibilities

• Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and/or individual (30%).
• Bases nursing interventions on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems, documenting planned interventions to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs (30%).
• Evaluates and documents responses to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriately determined intervals; collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to revise the plan of care based on evaluative data (20%).
• Participates actively in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance (10%).
• Focuses on safety, quality, and efficiency in performing job duties as a High Reliability Organization (HRO) (10%).

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state.
• BSN required at 5 years of employment.
• Candidates must have recent OR experience as an RN for at least a year or more in length at an acute care hospital.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree: Nursing (Required)
• BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
• RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing
