Surgery - Neurosurgery - Locum Tenens

Role Overview

Provide inpatient coverage with 5-7 shifts per month, starting as soon as credentialed, on an ongoing basis. Work hours are from 8am to 5pm with night call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage an average daily census of 20-30 patients
• Handle 1-2 admits per night
• Up to 10 consults per night
• Cover approximately 20 patients with applications and one surgery per night
• Perform procedures capable of spine and cranial interventions

Qualifications & Skills

• Board Certification required
• Active Georgia medical license essential
• Experience in inpatient settings with procedural skills in spine and cranial care

Supervision & Tools

• Supervised by APP support
• Utilizing the EPIC EMR system
