Locum Neurosurgeon

About the role

Seeking a physician to provide inpatient cerebrovascular services in a hospital setting with 24/7 call coverage (7-10 days per month) and an average of 3-4 phone consults daily.

Responsibilities

• Perform cerebrovascular open and endovascular procedures
• Perform aneurysm clipping and ICP monitor placement
• Manage acute cerebrovascular cases
• Contribute to patient care within an inpatient hospital environment
• Maintain certification and hospital privileges

Requirements

• Hospital privileges
• Paid malpractice insurance
• Ability to perform required cerebrovascular procedures
• Carotid or vertebral artery surgery experience (preferred)
