Locum | Physician Neurological Surgery

About the role

24-hour call coverage — ongoing 5 – 10 days per month
4 – 6 surgeries per week performed on-site
Hospital-based position — privileges required
Common procedures: ACDF, lumbar fusion, discectomy, laminectomy
Less common: spinal cord stimulator, kyphoplasty, carpal tunnel
On-call cases include burr hole and craniectomy via ER

Responsibilities

• Perform surgeries including ACDF, lumbar fusion, discectomy, laminectomy, spinal cord stimulator, kyphoplasty, and carpal tunnel procedures.
• Handle on-call cases involving burr hole and craniectomy through the emergency room.

Hospital-based position — privileges required

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Neurosurgery
• Experience with common and less common procedures listed above

Skills

• Excellent surgical skills
• Ability to manage on-call responsibilities
