About the role
An experienced Endovascular Neurosurgeon is needed to provide inpatient care at a high-volume stroke center.
Responsibilities
- Managing urgent cerebrovascular cases such as acute ischemic stroke, intracranial aneurysms, hemorrhages, AVMs, dAVFs, and vascular occlusive diseases
- Emergency consultations
- Interpreting advanced cerebrovascular imaging
- Performing diagnostic cerebral angiography, mechanical thrombectomy, endovascular and open vascular procedures
- Peri-procedural inpatient management
Qualifications
- Board certification in neurosurgery
- ME license
- IMLC
- DEA credentials
Skills
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
Key Duties
- Provide comprehensive inpatient neurovascular care
- Perform advanced neuroendovascular procedures
- Manage vascular neurosurgical patients
Schedule
Coverage is scheduled in predictable blocks, approximately 10 days per month.
