Surgery Coordinator- Urology

Responsibilities

• Scheduling new patient, follow-up pre-op, PASS, and post-op appointments
• Procedures
• Diagnostic tests
• Recalls
• Surgical admissions
• Coordinating interpreters in close collaboration with family and clinic staff
• Working closely with the OR to ensure maximum room utilization
• Coordinating the insurance approval process
• Managing patient records

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of Medical terminology
• Minimum of one (1) year of healthcare scheduling experience as a Family Service Coordinator or equivalent clinical reception/coordinator experience

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or at least two (2) years of college coursework in health care or related field
• Significant experience working with the general public in a health care/customer service environment
• Familiarity with other cultures/bilingual skills

Pay

Compensation Range: $25.39 - $38.09 per hour

Salary Information: This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
