About the role
Join a Fortune 100 technology leader as a Surface Commercial Sales Specialist. This fully remote role is available through 6/30/2027 and starts immediately.
Responsibilities
- Own the Microsoft Surface commercial business for an assigned portfolio of SMB and SMEC customer accounts.
- Develop and execute account strategies to protect existing revenue while identifying growth opportunities.
- Generate new pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting, customer outreach, and demand creation campaigns.
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle from opportunity discovery through negotiation, closing, and post-sale support.
- Build trusted relationships with customers to recommend appropriate Surface solutions.
- Cook up deals and remove obstacles by coordinating with Microsoft partners, pricing teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Deliver concierge-level customer service throughout the purchasing process.
- Support partner enablement activities, incentive programs, and co-sell motions.
- Track pipeline health, sales performance, and revenue metrics to strengthen future strategies.
- Contribute to AI-driven selling initiatives and scalable sales programs.
Requirements
- Proven experience with sales execution, negotiation, and closing technology solutions, including managing opportunities from discovery through deal close.
- Strong account management and pipeline generation experience, with the ability to grow existing business while creating new customer demand.
- Experience selling laptops, tablets, Surface devices, or comparable commercial technology products while partnering with customers and channel partners.
- Strong proficiency using CRM platforms, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot, and sales reporting tools to manage pipeline, forecast performance, and drive business decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Approximately 5+ years of technology sales, account management, and sales negotiation experience.
- Experience selling commercial laptops, tablets, Surface devices, or comparable hardware solutions.
- Demonstrated success generating pipeline, managing customer accounts, and consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Experience working with channel partners and coordinating cross-functional sales efforts.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot, and sales reporting tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
