The Aerospace, Defense and Marine (AD&M) business unit of TE is a world leader in the design of components and electrical interconnection solutions used for applications in extreme and rigorous environments. These solutions enable avionics, jet and propulsion engine management, flight controls, grounding systems, and on-board entertainment for today's "connected aircraft," extending to military, marine, aviation, space, land, drone vehicles, and oil and gas exploration.

Responsibilities

• Directly lead and oversee the activities of onsite Buyers and Shipping/Receiving/Inventory Supervisor.
• Collaborate with several internal departments to understand recovery plans, inventory options, alternative part options, distribution stock, and other avenues to avoid supply chain disruption.
• Lead daily tier/escalation meetings related to procurement, shipping/receiving, and inventory to avoid production line and/or customer impact.
• Properly escalate concerns to TE leadership to identify solutions.
• Track past due order recovery and identify areas where the plan is off track.
• Review and analyze the status of requisitions, exception reports, etc., comparing customer demand vs. confirmed capacity vs. delivery and take appropriate actions as needed.
• Work to establish long-term recovery actions for all critical parts shortages.
• Identify and lead continuous improvement projects to reduce cost and improve communication and efficiencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Fluent in English (written and oral); Spanish is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in demand management, customer service, or material planning environment.
• Knowledge of TE Operations, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain processes.

Skills

This position may involve working with technical data, technology, software/source code, hardware, or other items subject to U.S. and non-U.S. export control laws and regulations. TE may need to verify a candidate’s national origin and/or citizenship status to determine export license requirements.

Pay

Competitive base salary: $89,000 – $130,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location). Total compensation includes base salary, incentives, and benefits.
