About the role
The Inventory & Logistics Analyst supports global inventory management, logistics operations, and supply chain performance through data analysis, reporting, reconciliation, and cross-functional collaboration. This role works closely with Manufacturing, Planning, Sourcing, Finance, and Logistics teams to optimize inventory levels, improve material flow, and support operational objectives while maintaining compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Monitor finished goods, raw materials, and work-in-process inventory across global manufacturing and distribution sites.
- Analyze inventory trends using Tableau, Power BI, Excel, and ERP-based reporting tools to identify aging, excess, obsolete, high-risk, and high-value inventory.
- Support achievement of inventory targets, including Days on Hand (DOH), inventory turns, and inventory reduction initiatives.
- Track and report inventory performance metrics, risks, and action plans.
- Perform inventory reconciliations and validate inventory-related transactions within ERP systems.
- Execute and coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly cycle count programs for finished goods, components, and raw materials.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and partner with Operations, Planning, and Warehouse teams to implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and distribute cycle count accuracy reports, inventory adjustment summaries, and inventory control KPI metrics.
- Cook up and facilitate recurring inventory review meetings with manufacturing sites and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Identify inventory root causes, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and operational reviews.
- Document action plans, ownership, and timelines while tracking progress to completion.
- Partner with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Purchasing, Global Sourcing, Finance, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams to support inventory optimization strategies.
- Provide data-driven recommendations regarding forecast accuracy, supply plans, safety stock levels, and material management strategies.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, EHS requirements, Global Trade Compliance standards, and logistics procedures.
- Assist with internal and external audits, regulatory reporting, and documentation requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Customs Administration, or a related field; or 5 years of related experience within TE Connectivity.
- 2–5 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations, financial analysis, or business analytics.
- Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Power Query, lookups, and data modeling.
- Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI; SQL experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, reporting, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.

- Compensation: Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $64,800 - $97,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location).
