Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensure clients report to their respective groups on time.
- Serve as supervisor and director of clients' job assignments.
- Actively monitor clients completing their assigned tasks.
- Complete necessary documentation, including observation logs, maintenance reports, incident/information reports, urinalysis reports, and others as assigned.
- Prepare discharge forms for clients discharging and forward the information to relevant parties.
- Conduct routine urinalysis drug tests, skin checks, no-contact personal searches, eye checks, and searches of clients and belongings.
- Attend shift change meetings and stay updated on activities on the shift, such as new clients, discharges, illnesses, emergencies, etc.
- Review communications and policies and procedures.
- Chart on at least three clients per shift.
- Tour the facility regularly, ensuring a clean, safe environment and reporting any issues compromising the facility's safety and cleanliness to the Chief Support Technician and Assistant Chief Support Technician.
- Perform other tasks as directed by supervisors.
Skills and Knowledge Required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong time management skills.
Education and Training
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR/First Aid training certification within 30 days of hire.
- Registered or certified with CCAPP, CAADE, or CADTP.
Experience
- No prior experience necessary.
Special Conditions
- Willingness to undergo random drug screenings.
Working Conditions
- Frequent ascending and descending of stairs.
- Frequent standing and/or sitting for 6-8 hours.
- Frequent crouching below the waist and/or above the shoulders.
- Constant lifting and/or moving of objects up to 25 lbs.
- Constant pushing and/or pulling of objects up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent operation of motor vehicles.
- Occasional work at various locations across Los Angeles County.

Pay Range
