Position Summary
Aid the front office staff of the Marlins in all user support needs. Support spring training facility, game days and events as needed. Entry level help desk position.
Essential Functions
- Ownership of complete IT help desk functionality
- Provide tier 1 support for the IT help desk
- Must have ability to triage issues and know when to escalate to other team members
- Management and maintenance of KACE help desk software solution
- Working knowledge of Adaxes software platform a plus
- Assist in desktop and server deployments as necessary
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Assist in all IT initiatives
- Working knowledge of onboarding and offboarding users
Qualifications & Requirements
- Windows desktop support knowledge – through Windows 11
- Microsoft Office 365 suite products knowledge
- Familiarity of Windows Server product line – through WinServer 2022
- Knowledge of Active Directory and network user management
- Understanding of NAS and SAN solutions
- Understanding of infrastructure technologies, i.e. switches, routers
- Understanding of structured cabling methodologies
- Familiarity enterprise backup solutions
- Able to manage inventory of equipment for organization
- Working knowledge of IP address schemes and DHCP scopes
Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines
- CIS/MIS/IT AA Degree preferred
- CIF/MCA/MCE, A+, N+ a plus
- Experience with MacOS / iOS / Android
