Job Description

Primary responsibility is to provide remote Help Desk support for network and desktop hardware, software and other end-user specific products.

  • Deliver first-level call resolution for desktop hardware, software, LAN, WAN, E-Mail, Web, Internet, Intranet and administrative computing related problems
  • Log and diagnose issues reported to the Help Desk
  • Provide process, procedure and troubleshooting documentation
  • Cook up coordination of the resolution of any application/software issues
  • Perform standard reporting when required

Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent, supplemented with technical, vocational or college level course work in Information Technology or Computer Science

  • Knowledge and use of computer and network hardware (LAN, WAN) as well as an understanding of Windows, and Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Familiarity with current internet browsers and e-mail applications in a networked environment
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Self-motivation, patience and the ability to work in stressful situations
