Responsibilities

  • Provide technical software, hardware and network problem resolution to all users.
  • Perform question/problem diagnosis and guide users through step-by-step solutions in a call center environment.
  • Communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner.
  • Provide one-on-one end user training on basic workstation and peripheral device usage.
  • Troubleshoot problems related to network printer, PC hardware, ISeries, email, internet, VPN and local area network access.
  • Conduct hardware and software inventory database maintenance and reporting.
  • Operate the computer system in response to the computer time usage schedule.
  • Produce output reports for user departments.
  • Maintain job logs.
  • Follow and enforce all departmental standards, security, run instructions, backup, recovery and shift turnover.
  • Report all hardware and software malfunctions to the proper vendor in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable of the Casino Control Act and attendant regulations, as well as company internal controls, policies and procedures.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a valid Mississippi Gaming License.
