Responsibilities
- Provide technical software, hardware and network problem resolution to all users.
- Perform question/problem diagnosis and guide users through step-by-step solutions in a call center environment.
- Communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner.
- Provide one-on-one end user training on basic workstation and peripheral device usage.
- Troubleshoot problems related to network printer, PC hardware, ISeries, email, internet, VPN and local area network access.
- Conduct hardware and software inventory database maintenance and reporting.
- Operate the computer system in response to the computer time usage schedule.
- Produce output reports for user departments.
- Maintain job logs.
- Follow and enforce all departmental standards, security, run instructions, backup, recovery and shift turnover.
- Report all hardware and software malfunctions to the proper vendor in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledgeable of the Casino Control Act and attendant regulations, as well as company internal controls, policies and procedures.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Mississippi Gaming License.
