Support Services Technician, Eurofins Environment Testing Air Toxics, Folsom, CA

Responsibilities
- Cleaning and preparing sample media
- Packaging and shipment of media to clients
- Building and repairing flow controllers
- Assembling and dismantling shipping boxes
- Handling hazardous materials, including cryogenic Dewars of liquid nitrogen, compressed gases (helium, nitrogen, hydrogen), sharps, and liquid solvents (methylene chloride, acetonitrile, acetone)
- Adhering to safety protocols and referencing the Chemical Hygiene Plan and Injury and Illness Prevention Program
- Demonstrating accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Managing multiple priorities effectively and interpreting oral or written instructions
- Performing physical requirements of the job, including lifting up to 35 pounds continuously and pushing carts weighing up to 50 pounds
- Working closely with all departments and performing additional support duties as assigned
Requirements
- Experience in shipping, receiving, and/or warehousing
- Experience with processing orders using internal LIMS
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Proficiency in using shipping provider websites
- Ability to take initiative and work in a fast-paced team environment
- Good communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Positive attitude toward quality control, safety, and organized work processes
- Knowledge of Internet software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

- Adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures

- Reading, understanding, and complying with SOPs
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds continuously and stand for prolonged periods
- Working upright, bending, and using hands and arms repetitively

Pay
Compensation range: $19-$20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM shift with possible overtime and weekends when needed.
