Position Overview
Provide support services to the mailroom and maintenance departments of the company headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the mailroom Support Services Lead.
- Receive, sort and distribute internal and external mail.
- Manage outbound mail and packages requests.
- Operate various pieces of mailroom equipment or machines.
- Provide backup and cross-functional work for members of the mailroom team.
- Provide messenger services by making hand deliveries and pick-ups for executives or external parties, including Post Office, Bank Deposits and Bill Deliveries.
- Provide support to the building maintenance supervisor.
- Aid in the management of stored materials including furniture.
- Support internal relocation of staff members.
- Aid in the setup and breakdown of event furniture and equipment.
- Support emergent work.
Skills
- Ability to take direction and collaborate with other team members.
- Ability to deliver a high level of Customer Service within desired schedules.
- Good communication skills.
- General knowledge of mailroom operations and equipment / machines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and ability to learn the use of new software.
