About the role

We are seeking an LPN to assist in delivering quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

  • Assist nursing staff on a designated unit, ensuring optimal resident care.
  • Support infection control, cleanliness, and compliance with regulations.
  • Contribute to resident assessments, record keeping, and documentation, including new admissions and assessments.
  • Delegate tasks to non-licensed staff and monitor their performance.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and data collection.
  • Assist with lab requests, medication administration, and emergency response, including CPR.
  • Coordinate with the healthcare team and communicate changes in patient conditions to physicians.
  • Attend staff meetings and adhere to all policies, procedures, and licensing requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma required.
  • Current, valid North Carolina LPN license.
  • CPR certification and commitment to ongoing training.
  • Ability to make sound decisions, work under pressure, and perform various duties.
  • Knowledge of nursing practices, infection control, and regulatory standards.
  • Physical ability to handle nursing equipment and perform job duties effectively.
