About the Role
This position focuses on Windows patching, deployment, and enterprise-level troubleshooting across a range of Windows Server and Client operating systems. Key areas include Windows updates, licensing, activation, imaging, storage high availability, clustering, and backup technologies.
Responsibilities
- Manage Windows patching and deployment for client and server OS (Windows 7, 10, Server 2008–2019).
- Troubleshoot Windows Update servicing, activation, and deployment issues.
- Administer Windows licensing models (Retail, OEM, MAK, KMS, E3, E5) and tools like BitLocker/MBAM.
- Configure and maintain storage technologies (SAN, NAS), Hyper-V clustering, failover clusters, and high-availability solutions.
- Perform log analysis, imaging (Sysprep, WDS), and backup operations (VSS, DFS, MSDTC).
- Support Windows as a Service (WaaS), cumulative updates, LTSC, and Server Core deployments.
- Upgrade server hardware, manage quorum in clusters, and utilize Hyper-V checkpoints.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve complex customer issues via phone, email, and chat.
- Communicate technical next steps and status updates clearly to customers.
Requirements
- Experience with Windows Server 2008–2019 and client OS (Windows 7, 10).
- Proficiency in Hyper-V, failover clustering, storage technologies (SAN/NAS), and backup solutions (VSS).
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows updates, activation, and deployment.
- Familiarity with Windows licensing (MAK, KMS, E3/E5), Autopilot, and BitLocker/MBAM.
- Knowledge of Windows as a Service, cumulative updates, and LTSC.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Ability to diagnose issues via log analysis and cross-team collaboration.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $X–$Y (minimum to maximum target for US locations). Individual pay is determined by skills, experience, job level, and location. Additional compensation may include annual performance-based bonuses, sales incentives, or other variable pay.
