About the role

The role is dedicated to providing comprehensive support services to foster youth and adoptive families, focusing on mental health and therapeutic needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to foster youth and adoptive families
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Collaborate with other professionals in the field
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • Valid California license as a Psychologist or Social Worker
  • Experience working with foster youth and/or adoptive families
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of therapeutic interventions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for supporting vulnerable populations

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

$60,000 - $70,000 annually
