About the role
The role is dedicated to providing comprehensive support services to foster youth and adoptive families, focusing on mental health and therapeutic needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to foster youth and adoptive families
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Collaborate with other professionals in the field
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Valid California license as a Psychologist or Social Worker
- Experience working with foster youth and/or adoptive families
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of therapeutic interventions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for supporting vulnerable populations
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
