Support Center Representative
About the Role
We're partnering with a healthcare organization seeking a dedicated Support Representative to help members confidently navigate their healthcare journey. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping others, enjoys solving problems, and thrives in a customer-focused environment.
As a Support Representative, you'll serve as a trusted resource for members, assisting with benefits, claims, provider selection, and healthcare-related questions. You'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional member experience by providing clear guidance, identifying cost-saving opportunities, coordinating care needs, and collaborating with internal teams to improve access to services.
Responsibilities
- Assist members with healthcare benefits, claims, coverage, and provider-related inquiries
- Provide guidance and support through complex healthcare situations
- Identify opportunities to reduce healthcare costs and improve access to care
- Advocate for members and help coordinate services to meet their needs
- Partner with internal departments to resolve issues and improve the member experience
- Deliver outstanding customer service with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail
Requirements
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Passion for helping others and delivering exceptional service
- Ability to navigate complex situations with professionalism and empathy
- Customer service, healthcare, insurance, or call center experience is a plus
Training & Schedule
- 7-week paid classroom-style training program
- Training hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
- Upon successful completion of training, regular schedule will be Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-7:00 PM
