About the role
This Position is for a Support Care Professional Team Lead (Recreation) with an agency location in Wiggins MS.
Responsibilities
- Selects necessary materials, equipment, scenery or costumes for planned recreational activities.
- Assists in the in-service training of new workers and staff development as necessary.
- Affixes to carrying out formal training programs and entering the data into PPS system.
- Observes and reports on the results and progress of recreational activities to include participation and reactions.
- Assists in supervising volunteer workers, attendants or helpers.
- Coaches, instructs and supervises games, teams and athletic events.
- Affixes to organizing and supervising indoor games, dances and parties.
- Works with special groups or individuals.
- Requisitions and cares for recreational equipment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Graduation from a standard four-year high school or equivalent (GED).
- 3-5+ years of direct care experience with a minimum of 1 years of recreation experience.
- Must be able to drive State of MS vehicles.
