SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST

About the Role

You will serve as a Supply Systems Analyst in the Operations Department of NAVSUP FLC NORVA GF.

Responsibilities

• Receive support requests and assist in resolving production system-related issues.
• Assist with the interpretation and analysis of statistical and supply data from multiple Automated Data Processing Systems and programs, including material management, physical distribution, inventory control, hazardous material (HAZMAT), and/or transportation.
• Utilize research and analysis techniques to interpret, evaluate alternatives, and resolve customer requirements for urgent, emergency, or high-priority material or service needs.
• Research, compile, and evaluate data to identify patterns and causal factors of failures in order to determine and recommend solutions.
• Participate in studies that provide in-depth analysis and evaluation to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of supply programs and logistics operations.

Requirements

You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. This experience should demonstrate:

• A practical knowledge of a wide range of well-established and commonly applied supply program management information systems and supply chain management regulations.
• Experience with interrelated processes for a wide range of products and services managed at stock points and other activity locations.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing multiple complex supply software systems and databases to provide technical assistance, worldwide supply support, and resolution of production systems-related issues.
• Knowledge of interrelated supply processes to identify and act upon supply programs and system support requirements and deficiencies.
