Supply Service Technician - Located in Riverside, CA

Located in Riverside, CA – Palomar Building (Menifee, CA). Full-time position.

About the role

The Vehicle Service Technician (VST) ensures all ambulances are "response ready" for field crews, reducing downtime and increasing service quality. The role delivers clean, well-stocked vehicles with functioning equipment, maintained to the highest standard.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inventory checks
• Clean ambulances inside and outside
• Restock ambulance supplies daily
• Ensure deep cycling of monitor batteries every three months
• Conduct mechanical checks (brakes, fluids, window washer fluid)
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Requisition supplies for replacement
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Valid California Driver’s License with driving record compliant with AMR insurability policy
• Completion of ICS courses:
  • IS-100B (ICS 100)
  • IS-200B (ICS 200)
  • IS-700A (NIMS)
  • IS-800B (NIMS)
• At least six months of prior work experience

Skills

• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• EMT or related medical background experience preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
• Knowledge of ambulance interior/exterior preferred

Pay

$16.90 – $18.00 per hour (DOE). This rate applies to 12-hour shifts.
