Supply Technician (Yermo, CA)

Location: Yermo, CA

Hourly Rate: $36.39 (contingent upon contract award)

About the role

This position requires proficiency in most Microsoft programs (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word). The Supply Technician must be knowledgeable with GCSS-A and its ordering systems.

Responsibilities

• Order parts for large vehicle/industrial establishments.
• Compile and record production data to compare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of production.
• Calculate factors such as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, amount of scrap, frequency of defects, and worker and department production rates using a computer, calculator, and/or spreadsheets.
• Write financial reports based on data compiled, tabulated, and computed, following prescribed formats.
• Maintain files of documents used and prepared.
• Compile detailed production sheets or work tickets for use by production workers as guides in assembly or manufacture of products.
• Sort and distribute work tickets or material.
• Compute wages from employee timecards and post wage data on records used for preparation of payroll.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Knowledge of GCSS-A and its ordering systems.
• Experience with data compilation, tabulation, and computation.
• Ability to create and maintain production sheets, work tickets, and financial reports.
