Supply Service Technician - Located in Palm Springs, CA

Summary

The Vehicle Service Technician (VST) ensures ambulances are response-ready for field crews, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and equipment functionality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Vehicle inventory check
• Clean ambulances inside and outside
• Restock ambulance supplies daily
• Ensure deep cycling of monitor batteries every three months
• Mechanical check vehicles (brakes, fluid, window washer fluid)
• Affirm the workspace is clean and organized
• Requisition supplies for replacement
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Licensing/Certification

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• California Driver’s License and compliant driving record
• ICS courses (https://training.fema.gov/nims/IS-100B)

Knowledge and Skills

• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• EMT or related medical background experience preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish) and knowledge of ambulances interior/exterior preferred

Pay

$16.90 - $18.00 per hour DOE (This rate applies to 12-hour shift)
