Supply Technician
Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform technical supply management activities including inventory management, storage management, cataloging, property accountability, and material utilization.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct inventory reconciliation activities.
- Receive, issue, store, transfer, and account for government property and supplies.
- Process supply transactions using Automated Information Systems.
- Maintain accurate supply documentation and records in accordance with Air Force and Department of Defense requirements.
- Aid with property accountability and equipment tracking throughout the equipment lifecycle.
- Interpret and apply contract requirements, Statements of Work (SOW), Air Force guidance, and DoD directives.
- Support ordering, receiving, storage, distribution, and disposition of supplies.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operational personnel to ensure equipment and materials are available to support mission requirements.
- Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and supply management databases to prepare reports and maintain records.
- Support inventory audits and property inspections.
- Operate government or company vehicles as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of range operations.
Requirements
- Active U.S. DoD SECRET Security Clearance (Must have interim clearance before start date)
- High school education or equivalent.
- Relevant experience as a Supply Technician or in a related logistics or supply management role.
- Working knowledge of technical supply management principles and inventory control.
- Experience with automated inventory or supply management systems preferred.
- The following systems: Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS), Integrated Logistics System – Supply (ILS-S), Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS), Theater Integrated Combat Munitions System (TICMS), Global Ammunition Control Point (GACP).
- A general understanding of range support systems, including Joint Threat Emitter (JTE), MST-T1A / MUTES, MST-T1(V) / Mini-MUTES, and STRONG computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience entering and maintaining data within automated information systems.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-focused environment.
