Supply Planning Transformation Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Supply Planning Transformation resource for assigned manufacturing sites.
  • Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, operations, quality, procurement, and commercial teams throughout each deployment.
  • Assess current planning processes and identify opportunities to improve consistency and alignment with future-state operating models.
  • Support implementation of standardized supply planning processes and planning system enhancements.
  • Facilitate planning workshops, readiness assessments, and stakeholder meetings throughout deployment activities.
  • Deliver training and provide ongoing coaching to planners and site teams to ensure successful adoption of new processes.
  • Drive operational readiness activities, issue resolution, and transition support during go-live and hypercare phases.
  • Cook up project timelines, action items, risks, and deliverables across multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Monitor adoption, capture lessons learned, and support continuous improvement initiatives following implementation.
  • Travel to manufacturing sites approximately one week per month to support deployment activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Planning, Manufacturing Planning, Production Planning, S&OP, IBP, or Manufacturing Supply Chain.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience using SAP within a supply chain planning or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong project coordination skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive organizational adoption.
  • Comfortable delivering training, facilitating workshops, and supporting operational change.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15–35%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting supply chain transformation, planning process improvements, or planning system implementations.
  • Exposure to SAP IBP, SAP APO, Blue Yonder, JDA, Infor, Kinaxis, or other Advanced Planning Systems (APS).
  • Experience supporting Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Master Production Scheduling (MPS), or Capacity Planning.
  • Change Management experience or certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or Continuous Improvement background.
  • Experience supporting multiple manufacturing sites or contract manufacturing organizations.
