About the role

Job Summary: The Supply Planning Transformation Specialist will lead site-level deployment of a strategic supply planning transformation program across manufacturing operations. This role will drive adoption of a new Target Operating Model, planning processes, tools, and ways of working while partnering with site leadership and global supply chain teams. The position requires strong supply planning expertise, transformation experience, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end deployment of the supply planning transformation program at assigned manufacturing sites.
  • Partner with site leadership and supply planning teams to drive adoption of the Target Operating Model.
  • Conduct site readiness assessments and identify gaps against the target state.
  • Develop and execute site-specific deployment and change management plans.
  • Deliver training and capability-building sessions for site supply planning teams.
  • Track site progress against deployment milestones and key performance indicators.
  • Identify and escalate risks, issues, and barriers to successful adoption.
  • Embed new planning processes, tools, and ways of working to ensure sustainable change.
  • Capture site learnings and contribute to continuous improvement of the deployment approach.
  • Coach site teams and build confidence and capability in new planning processes.
  • Drive alignment across supply chain, manufacturing, operations, and leadership stakeholders.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, or Sales and Operations Planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP, Blue Yonder/JDA, or equivalent advanced planning tools.
  • Experience with Master Production Scheduling, Advanced Planning and Scheduling, capacity planning, or resource allocation.
  • Experience supporting supply chain transformation or Target Operating Model deployment.
  • Experience conducting site readiness assessments, gap analysis, and deployment planning.
  • Strong understanding of Sales and Operations Planning processes, including demand, supply, capacity, inventory, and material planning.
  • Experience delivering training, facilitation, and capability-building programs.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across cross-functional and matrixed teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15–35% based on deployment requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or professional specialization in Supply Chain or Operations.
  • Experience supporting both manufacturing-site and global supply chain organizations.
  • Advanced hands-on proficiency with supply planning and scheduling tools.
  • Change management knowledge or certification.
  • Experience leading complex transformation initiatives across multiple sites.
  • Experience influencing teams without formal reporting authority.

Pay

Pay Range: $50/hr to $55/hr
