About the role

As Supply Planner II you will handle pre-season planning at the vendor level and in-season execution and optimization of the wholesale finished-goods inventory plan. The role addresses supply constraints while maximizing service levels and wholesale inventory turns, and makes buy recommendations at the style/color level to support the purchase-order creation process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop finished-goods inventory plans using the Demand Planners’ monthly demand forecast.
  • Create and maintain the monthly projected buy plan (Forecasted Load Plan) to support global inventory demand.
  • Review global supply needs and recommend style/color buy quantities by month to balance demand forecast, inventory turns, risk, and average inventory levels while adhering to production minimums.
  • Collaborate with Sourcing, Manufacturing, and liaison offices on factory capacity, production start dates, product lead times, and other supply-chain variables.
  • Track inventory levels against corporate plans and shipping forecasts; identify excess and speculative inventory and communicate product availability.
  • Monitor inventory targets based on the demand plan and desired service levels.
  • Summarize and present data in forecast and planning meetings; solicit feedback in partnership with Supply Planning management.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of reports, including data extraction and validation from ERP systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum three years of professional experience in supply-chain planning; international and apparel/footwear industry experience preferred.
  • Experience in key supply-chain functions: forecasting, production/capacity planning, logistics, distribution, and ERP/MRP systems.

Skills

  • Proficient in SAP.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing) with clear, concise business-communication skills.
  • Ability to run preformatted reports, create simple queries, and validate data.
  • Strong understanding of forecast confidence, risks, and opportunities.
  • Analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to make data-supported recommendations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills: charts, pivot tables, formulas (SUMIF, VLOOKUP, etc.).

Pay

Base salary range: $81,900 – $86,500 per year. Offers are made within this range based on relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, and market considerations.

Schedule

Hybrid role based in the Portland, OR area. Employees are expected to reside within a reasonable commuting distance and generally work on-site four days per week, with flexibility based on business and team needs.

Travel

Up to 5% travel required.
