Supply Management Specialist

About the role

This role focuses on managing cost reduction and risk mitigation projects. The position supports the Engineering Change Management process, collaborates with engineering and suppliers, and develops comprehensive implementation plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost reduction and risk mitigation projects to ensure timely execution without disruption to the product line.
• Support the Engineering Change Management (ECM) process for timely and cost-effective implementation of design changes and product improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering and suppliers on product specifications to ensure quality at the lowest total cost.
• Develop and communicate comprehensive implementation plans to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3 or more years of experience in Supply Chain.
• Ideally, candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Management, Engineering Technology, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent related work experience.
• Experience with leading a project, including creating a plan, coordinating resources, and delivering results.

Skills

• Experience in managing supplier relationships and maintaining effective communication.
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing or factory setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively, influence without authority, and execute cross-functionally.
• Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to make sound business decisions.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analytics.

Pay

The typical base pay for this role is $33.78 - $34.78 per hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
