Duties Summary
You will serve as a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrates your experience utilizing knowledge of procedures for receiving, storing, controlling, issuing, shipping, and disposal of material in assigning project goals to be accomplished by personnel in the Material Management Department.
- I have a broad knowledge of government property control procedures and regulations and expert knowledge of DOD policies and procedures governing all types of material related actions.
- Examples of specialized experience must include the following:
- Expert knowledge of warehousing matters related to government property for ships undergoing construction, conversion, overhaul, repair, alteration, activation or inactivation
- The ability to think clearly and systematically, to exercise judgement and to make decisions involving complex considerations.
- Expert use of Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) software.
- (4. Responsible for the operation and control of either RRAM or CARP program as assigned.)
