Supply Management Specialist

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour (1-year Contract)
• Shift: 1st shift position, 7 am to 3:30 pm

Responsibilities

• Manage purchased parts delivery for internal and external suppliers at one or more locations
• Support development and execution of strategies and contracts for commodities of lower value and complexity
• Assist with cost models, spend analysis, make vs. buy studies, and invoice issue resolution
• Utilize preset tools and formats to collate and analyze data
• Work with Strategic Sourcing to address supplier performance and participate in supplier selection processes
• Perform quality tests, inspections, and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Produce and update complex Microsoft Office documents, databases, and departmental systems

Requirements

• 4-year degree in a business-related field or supply management (recent graduates welcome)
• Strong communication and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of independent judgment within set procedures
• Basic experience with office or operational systems (4 to 6 months preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP
• Inventory/parts experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with suppliers
