Description
The Supply Chain Technician 1 at St. Luke’s works on a swing shift schedule in the Nampa Medical Center. Responsibilities include typical supply chain operations such as distribution, picking, put-away, product delivery, inventorying, and stocking.
Requirements
- Schedule: Five, eight-hour shifts. Sundays: 11:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m., Monday - Thursday: 12:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Night and weekend shift differentials apply.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 0 years experience.
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license if required to drive.
Qualifications
- Individuals may be responsible for a general overview or may specialize in one or more of the function areas of Supply Chain Operations, including Courier, Distribution, and Warehouse roles.
- Responsibilities vary based on specialization, but generally include:
- Courier: Transportation of patient-related materials, mail, medical supplies, equipment, linen, and other items; completing forms for tracking and accountability of deliveries; maintaining vehicle cleanliness, fuel, and readiness.
- Distribution Clerk: Issuing medical/surgical supplies to departments; answering inquiries on product availability; unloading, breaking down, and ticketing supplies; sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences.
- Warehouse Clerk: Receiving, storing, and distributing materials; resolving routine questions and problems; performing standardized and routine clerical tasks; compiling, filing, and maintaining records; performing other duties as assigned.
