SUPPLY CHAIN SPECIALIST 4

Full-time, 1st shift. U.S. citizenship required. No relocation assistance available. Not eligible for telework. No travel required. No clearance required to start.

Anticipated salary range: $105,000.00 to $133,000.00. This represents the estimated base pay for the role; final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors, and may vary from the posted range.

About the Role

Responsible for purchasing highly complex or unusual, technical or high dollar value materials, supplies or services.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates bids, selects and recommends suppliers and negotiates price, quality and service.
• Follows up on all awards until completion of order.
• Negotiates and settles with suppliers regarding damage claims, rejections, losses, return of materials, over shipments, cancellations and engineering change orders.
• Oversees and/or conducts supplier site visits as necessary.
• May provide work leadership for lower level employees. Excludes those with full supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of relevant exempt experience; Master's Degree and 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• One of the following may be used as equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications:
  • NNS Apprentice School graduate
  • Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
  • Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
  • Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
  • High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
  • High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
