Supply Chain Procurement Specialist - Level 4
Responsibilities
- Sourcing and procuring various commodities throughout multiple programs
- Initiate Requests for Quotation, analyzing Supplier proposals, performing price analysis, and negotiations
- Ensures compliance with all public law requirements (FAR and DFARS) as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations
- Reviews documentation of peers to ensure compliance
- Work independently, problem solve and find creative solutions
- Review, reconcile and approve supplier invoices
- Interfacing and collaborating with Programs and other organizations within and outside of Global Supply Chain
- Plan Schedule and arrange execute activities to accomplish objectives
- Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency
- Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in Global Supply Chain, Purchasing/Procurement, Operations – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience; in lieu of degree an additional 4+ years of experience will be considered
- Strong experience in government contracting and compliance to internal policies and procedures as well as FAR/DFARS
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, data analysis and V-look ups
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and extremely organized
Preferred Qualifications
- High experience in negotiating overriding terms and conditions
- Experience in reviewing Purchase Order documentation for adherence to policies and procures and FAR/DFARS
- Experienced and knowledgeable with SAP/CostPoint ERP System

Benefits
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
