Supply Chain Procurement Specialist - Level 5

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and procuring various commodities throughout multiple programs
• Initiate Requests for Quotation, analyzing Supplier proposals, performing price analysis, and negotiations
• Ensures compliance with all public law requirements (FAR and DFARS) as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations
• Work independently
• Problem solve and find creative solutions
• Review, reconcile and approve supplier invoices
• Interface and collaborate with Programs and other organizations within and outside of Global Supply Chain
• Plan Schedule and arrange execute activities to accomplish objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience in Global Supply Chain, Purchasing/Procurement, Operations – OR – Master’s degree with 10+ years of professional experience; in lieu of degree an additional 4+ years of experience will be considered
• Experience in MS Office suite
• Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, basic formulas and V-look ups
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and extremely organized
• Strong understanding of NG Enterprise and Space policies and procedures
• Experience with SAP/CostPoint ERP System
• Experience within the Aerospace or Aviation Industry is preferred
• Experience with FAR/DFARExperience buying tooling or mechanical commodity

Qualifications

Pay

• Primary Level Salary Range: $114,800.00 - $172,200.00
