This is a contract role providing services to Samsung through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions (AGS). If selected, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Samsung.
Responsibilities
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with Sales Management, Business Management, and SEA Supply Chain Management to support demand planning, forecasting assumptions, and analysis.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and statistical analyses related to demand planning and forecasting.
- Support implementation and deployment of organizational and departmental initiatives.
- Capture and document business requirements accurately and completely.
- Develop both short-term and long-term project plans, including milestones and timelines.
- Generate and monitor project milestones, identify issues, and support resolution activities.
- Provide project updates and key information to stakeholders to support decision-making.
- Prepare and communicate weekly project status reports.
- Conduct quality control throughout project execution to ensure expected standards are maintained.
- Adjust schedules, timelines, and targets as business needs evolve.
- Ensure project closure activities are completed, including lessons learned and required documentation.
- Support weekly business operations forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
- Manage planning and tracking activities related to the expansion of cross-dock operations and next-day delivery capabilities.
- Create and manage project plans supporting strategic business initiatives.
- Apply knowledge of retail and direct-to-consumer business processes to guide decision-making.
- Lead cross-functional matrix teams and influence outcomes through strong leadership and subject matter expertise.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of Supply Chain experience required.
- 3-4 years of Project Management experience.
- PMP certification required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience.
- Lean Six Sigma and/or APICS CPIM certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain best practices and industry trends.
- Proven success working in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.
- Previous experience with an appliance or consumer electronics manufacturer and/or retailer strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage deadlines, and balance multiple priorities.
- Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
