Supply Chain Planner II (Hybrid)
About the role
This role combines collaborative/in-person and independent work, operating under a hybrid work format with a split between onsite and remote work. It involves Factory and Business Area Planning in support of Programs at the MER24 Sustainment Center. The Supply Chain Planner (SCP) is responsible for all supply chain activities, supporting program execution and reporting on key performance indicators, performance data, and miscellaneous metrics.
Responsibilities
- Supports execution of programs and assists with reporting of key performance indicators, performance data, and miscellaneous metrics.
- Identifies and escalates issues to VSS, OPM, and Factory and Supply Chain Management.
- Plans, prepares, issues, and controls material requirements in conjunction with the production schedule.
- Supports risk management activities impacting the value chain working with cross-functional teams.
- Ensures that shipments are accomplished to maintain contract/internal delivery commitments.
- Utilizes system and process tools to achieve program / functional goals.
Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of work experience or equivalent experience.
- Ability to verbally and accurately report production status to program team or factory team.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- ERP System Experience (Oracle, SAP, Other).
- Ability to analyze and react to exceptions in MRP, especially around Bills of Material, Material Planning, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders and COs.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Preferred
- Good communication skills and drive to learn Supply Chain initiatives, processes, and procedures as well as a multitude of applications and reporting.
- Experience working in a Depot environment using YORK.
Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $67,406 - $114,590
