Supply Chain Planner

Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain supply plans to support customer demand while optimizing inventory investment.
- Responsible for Purchase Order placement, Order Management, and Inventory Health.
- Maintain visibility of inbound shipments and proactively communicate potential disruptions.
- Coordinate product receiving schedules with warehouse operations.
- Maintain inventory levels, stock availability, and replenishment requirements across warehouses.
- Analyze demand forecasts and translate them into procurement and replenishment plans.
- Identify and mitigate supply risks that may impact product availability.
- Cook with international suppliers to ensure timely production and shipment of products.
- Maintain visibility of inbound shipments and proactively communicate potential disruptions.
- Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to prioritize customer requirements.
- Monitor order fulfillment performance and identify opportunities to improve service levels.
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
- 2-4 years of related Supply Chain experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain concepts, Purchasing, Inventory Management, and their application.
- Experience with ERP, MRP, or Supply Chain planning systems.
- Experience with Advanced Planning Software packages like Manhattan, Power BI, Aptean.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and supply planning methodologies.
- A team player with a roll up your sleeves attitude and high sense of urgency.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
- Understanding of international logistics, freight forwarding, and import processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Food industry experience in a similar Supply Chain role is preferred.
