About the role
The Amazon supply chain team is seeking an experienced leader to create and execute the worldwide supply chain, working closely with retail and operations partners globally. The role involves managing multiple initiatives and projects, writing strategy documents, forming cross-functional project teams, and deep-diving complex models.
Responsibilities
- Align and optimize the fulfillment network plan for labor and capacity constraints, ideal placement, and buy volumes.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
- Formulate and own volume projections and present to senior leadership.
- Gather Retail/FBA and partner inbound and outbound inventory flow forecasts weekly and turn them into operational plans.
- Track the execution of the plan against the plan and provide metrics to retail, ops leadership, and FCs.
- Surface and adjust plans when large variations are detected to ensure FCs can operate.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of cross-functional working experience with tech and non-tech teams
- 3+ years of process improvement initiative experience using data and metrics
- 2+ years of supply chain experience
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps)
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Qualifications
- Knowledge of SQL
- Experience in stakeholder management and dealing with multiple stakeholders at various organizational levels
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
