Supply Chain Manager II, AMXL First Mile S&OP

About the role

The Amazon supply chain team is seeking an experienced leader to create and execute the worldwide supply chain, working closely with retail and operations partners globally. The role involves managing multiple initiatives and projects, writing strategy documents, forming cross-functional project teams, and deep-diving into complex models.

Responsibilities

• Align and optimize the fulfillment network plan for labor and capacity constraints, ideal placement, and buy volumes.
• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
• Formulate and own volume projections and present to senior leadership.
• Gather Retail/FBA and partner inbound and outbound inventory flow forecasts weekly and turn the forecast into an operational plan.
• Track the execution of the plan against the plan and provide metrics to retail, operations leadership, and FCs.
• Surface and adjust plans when variability becomes too high for FCs to operationalize.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of program or project management experience
• 3+ years of cross-functional working experience with tech and non-tech teams
• 3+ years of process improvement initiative experience using data and metrics
• 2+ years of supply chain experience
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookUps)
• SQL experience
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Qualifications

• Passionate about the role and willing to make an impact on a global scale
• 3+ years of driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
• 3+ years of driving process improvements
• Experience in stakeholder management and dealing with multiple stakeholders at various levels of the organization
• Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
