About the role

The Amazon supply chain team is seeking an experienced leader to create and execute the worldwide supply chain, working closely with retail and operations partners globally to manage volume flows and fullness for fulfillment centers and delivery stations.

Responsibilities

  • Align and optimize the fulfillment network plan for labor and capacity constraints, ideal placement, and buy volumes.
  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
  • Form cross-functional project teams, manage, and execute complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders.
  • Deep dive into complex models and analyze trade-off decisions to ensure the best outcomes for customers.
  • Define and own volume projections and present them to senior leadership.
  • Gather Retail/FBA and partner inbound and outbound inventory flow forecasts weekly and turn them into operational plans.
  • Track the execution of the plan against the plan and provide metrics to retail, operations leadership, and FCs.
  • Surface and adjust plans when large variations are detected to ensure FCs can operate effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of cross-functional working experience with tech and non-tech teams
  • 3+ years of process improvement initiative experience using data and metrics
  • 2+ years of supply chain experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps)
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Qualifications

  • Passionate about the role and willing to make an impact on a global scale
  • 3+ years of driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements
  • Experience in stakeholder management and dealing with multiple stakeholders at various levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
