Supply Chain Demand Planner
Position Responsibilities
- Develop demand forecasts and operational forecasts for different time horizons within the supply chain, while reviewing historical sales trends and researching demand drivers to understand the forecast drivers.
- Utilize a collaborative approach by working with sales and marketing to obtain current and accurate information while using demand planning software as the primary forecast tool.
- Provide input to the supply planning organization in developing inventory strategies for new products and closely coordinate communication with customer action plans within the warehouse.
- Maintain best-in-class forecast accuracy levels and out-of-stock levels within the logistics process, while eliminating breakage, damage, and loss due to product age.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree with 4 to 6 plus years of related experience or
- High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 7 to 9 plus years of specific experience
