About the role

As a Supply Chain Administrator, you will assist a team of procurement professionals by supporting a portfolio of subcontract agreements and direct procurement requirements. You will balance multiple priorities to help our clients address both their current and emerging needs effectively. This involves close collaboration with internal teams, efficient facilitation of information flow across the supply chain, and development of strong relationships with suppliers. You will help ensure sourcing requirements are met promptly and to the highest standards while assisting in negotiating favorable terms to guarantee timely delivery of quality materials and services. You will also address issues that arise during the contracting lifecycle, ensuring procurement activities remain cost‑effective and fully compliant with approved business systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support procurement strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Work to performance expectations and objectives supporting alignment with market account managers’ overall business strategies.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally and with suppliers to manage inventory levels that optimize availability while minimizing costs.
  • Identify potential risks within the supply chain and participate in developing mitigation strategies.
  • Provide business advice and counsel on subcontract or direct procurement matters, including contract types, regulatory and corporate policy compliance, organizational conflicts of interest, and risk management.
  • Proactively collaborate across the team to address issues that arise during the procurement lifecycle.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement with a group of administrators.
  • Work with Supply Chain Managers to mentor less‑experienced administrators and technical staff.
  • Analyze your portfolio to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation to drive operational efficiency.
  • Support data analytics and forecasting tools with market and supply chain leadership to anticipate customer demand and increase efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality, reliability, and cost‑effectiveness.
  • Support a portfolio of procurement requirements and negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and service levels.
  • Monitor supplier performance and proactively address issues to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance, including spend analysis, supplier performance metrics, and market trends.
  • Utilize data‑analysis insights to inform strategic decision‑making and drive continuous improvement in procurement practices.

Requirements

  • Experience in subcontracts or purchasing.
  • Experience in procurement or subcontract management, including supporting proposals, supplier selection, or subcontract administration.
  • Experience working with suppliers and their sub‑tiers on product and service delivery.
  • Knowledge of procurement software and tools such as ERP systems or e‑procurement platforms.
  • Knowledge of contract management software and tools.
  • Ability to function independently as a self‑starter and manage work efficiently.
  • Ability to collaborate with program leadership and stakeholders to drive delivery of procurements.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • HS diploma or GED.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by factors such as location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract‑specific affordability, and organizational requirements.
