As a Supply Chain Administrator, you will assist a team of procurement professionals by supporting a portfolio of subcontract agreements and direct procurement requirements. You will balance multiple priorities to help our clients address both their current and emerging needs effectively through close collaboration with internal teams, efficient facilitation of information flow across the supply chain, and the development of strong relationships with suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Support procurement strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Work to performance expectations and objectives supporting alignment with the market account managers’ overall business strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and with suppliers to manage inventory levels that optimize availability while minimizing costs.
  • Help identify potential risks within the supply chain and participate in the development of strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Provide business advice and counsel on subcontract or direct procurement matters, including contract types, regulatory and corporate policy compliance requirements, organizational conflicts of interest, and risk management and mitigation.
  • Proactively collaborate across the team to address any issues that may arise during the procurement lifecycle.
  • Ensure that all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Work with a group of administrators to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Help identify and support opportunities to provide guidance, advice, support, and knowledge to less experienced administrators and technical staff.
  • Analyze your portfolio to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support data analytics and forecasting tools and techniques to anticipate customer demands, navigate through industry disruptors, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Support a portfolio of procurement requirements and collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns proactively to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to team leadership on procurement performance, including spend analysis, supplier performance metrics, and market trends.
  • Utilize insights from data analysis to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement in procurement practices.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in subcontracts or purchasing
  • 2+ years of experience in federal procurement or subcontract management, including supporting proposals, supplier selection, and subcontract administration to support U.S. government programs
  • Experience working with suppliers and their sub-tiers with product and service delivery
  • Experience with procurement software and tools such as ERP systems or e-procurement platforms
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of contract management software and tools
  • Ability to function independently as a self-starter and manage work efficiently
  • Ability to collaborate with program leadership and stakeholders to drive delivery of procurements
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

Work model expectations:

  • Remote: Generally expected to have cameras on during meetings. Occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility may be required.
  • Hybrid: Expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, with potential visits to customer facilities as needed.
  • Onsite: Work primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers.
