Responsibilities
- Drive qualification and onboarding of new suppliers for memory and storage technologies, including SSDs, HDDs, DRAM, NAND, and related infrastructure components.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Product Management teams to evaluate supplier capabilities, technical compliance, and long-term sourcing strategies.
- Develop and maintain a robust, competitive, and resilient supply base to support current and future business requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance, capacity, lead times, and risk factors to ensure continuity of supply.
- Track and analyze memory and storage component pricing, market trends, technology transitions, and supply-demand dynamics.
- Conduct cost reviews and present recommendations to Sourcing Management, Business Unit leaders, and Finance teams.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost reduction initiatives through data-driven analysis and supplier engagement.
- Identify opportunities to optimize total cost of ownership while maintaining quality and supply continuity.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical capabilities, supply chain expertise, and business acumen.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, Finance, and Strategic Sourcing teams.
- Experience in managing supplier performance and mitigating supply risks.
- Ability to operate effectively in complex and ambiguous environments, demonstrating sound judgment, proactive problem-solving, and a passion for continuous improvement.
