About the role

This role leads commercial responsibility for data center passive fiber cabling products such as patch cords, trunks and bulk fiber products. It involves quoting, negotiating, contracting, awarding, and managing the passive fiber cable products from inventory procurement through product deliveries to end destinations.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross line of business teams to drive competitive cost, supplier performance and supply chain efficiencies.
• Create and implement supply chain initiatives & improvements to drive efficiencies and best practices.
• Mentor and provide leadership to other colleagues.
• Act as the primary interface in the management of the supplier relationships.
• Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.
• Able to operate in fast pace, ambiguous environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years relevant experience and BA/BS degree.
• Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, negotiations, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving.

Skills and Abilities

• Evaluate submitted proposals/quotes against Oracle standards.
• Manage data center passive fiber cabling product suppliers that meet stakeholder requirements.
• Negotiate and execute supplier contractual agreements while sustaining product competitiveness.
• Track and provide supplier performance feedback to ensure Oracle standards are achieved.
• Create and implement supply chain initiatives and improvements to drive efficiencies and best practices.
• Develop constructive stakeholder relationships which involve direct interaction with different Oracle lines of business and Oracle networking suppliers.
• Influence product selection with stakeholders based on continuity of supply, cost, and technology.
